Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 130ml 2C

Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2C 130ml is a compact two-component hardwax oil set for smaller interior wood projects. Colour and protect wooden furniture, tabletops and other interior surfaces in one coat while preserving the wood’s natural look and feel.

The set combines Oil Plus component A with accelerator component B. Choose your colour and test it on identically sanded wood before starting, as the wood species and preparation affect the final result.

Coverage

Estimated coverage is approximately 3.9–6.5 m² per set, calculated from the manufacturer’s guidance of 30–50 m² per litre. Actual coverage depends on wood type, sanding and preparation.

Drying and curing

Drying time is 12–24 hours, with full curing after 5 days. Wait at least 2 days before dry cleaning and 5 days before cleaning with water and recommended Rubio Monocoat cleaning products.

Application

Prepare the wood according to the technical sheet, mix approximately 3 parts component A with 1 part component B, and apply a small quantity. Remove all excess oil within 30 minutes, leaving the surface non-sticky.

Oil-soaked cloths and tools may spontaneously combust. Immerse them in water after use before disposal, following the manufacturer’s safety instructions.
