Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 1.3L 2C

Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2C 1.3L is a larger two-component hardwax oil set for interior wooden floors, stairs, furniture and worktops. Colour and protect wood in one coat, preserving its natural look and feel without building a surface film.

The set contains 1 litre of Oil Plus component A and 300ml of accelerator component B. Its larger pack size suits projects requiring more coverage, including wooden flooring and multiple furniture pieces.

Coverage

Indicative coverage is approximately 39–65 m² per set. Wood type, sanding and preparation affect consumption. Test on identically sanded wood to check the colour and estimate the quantity required.

Drying and curing

Drying time is 12–24 hours, with full curing after 5 days. Wait at least 2 days before dry cleaning and 5 days before cleaning with water and recommended Rubio Monocoat cleaning products.

Application

Prepare the wood according to the technical sheet and mix the components thoroughly. For floors, work in manageable zones of 5–10 m². Remove all excess oil, completing each area within 30 minutes and leaving the surface non-sticky. Use the mixed product within 4–6 hours.

Oil-soaked cloths and tools may spontaneously combust. Immerse them in water after use before disposal, following the manufacturer’s safety instructions.
